The purpose of this website is to connect people, the 'family' backbone being used so that the connected people are not just friends or acquaintances over the internet but have a real-world connection which can be relied upon and vouched for. The end objective is the realization of the various benefits of such reliable and secure networking.

The Minai family as far as we know has it's roots in a small village called Bijnaur near Lucknow in Northern India. Now that the people of the family have spread far and wide all over the world, it is a good idea to have a website to help keep in touch, share photos, relay news and discuss issues important to the family.

Of course there are people with the 'Minai' surname who are connected to this same family from before the time that some Minais settled in Bijnaur, they are earnestly requested to join!

And then there are the friends, fast friends, best friends, old friends, new friends . . . all those people without whom our lives would not be complete, they are welcome to join too. Friends of the family will connect us to more families and hence more friends!
